Diagnosis
Small to medium in size. Palpi with third segment long, thin and prominently protruding; forewing vein M2 straight, arising about midway between the origins of veins M1 and M3, and vein M3 closer to vein CuA1 than to vein M2, vein 2A straight, apex not produced; forewing upperside and underside with white hyaline spots, hindwing upperside usually with similar spots.
Male genitalia: uncus long and thin, undivided, socius thin and pointed or absent, saccus variable, very short to long; female genitalia with anterior and posterior lamella well developed, ductus bursa short, signum absent.
Externally the genus is very similar to Suada and Suastus , but can be distinguished from the former by forewing apex not produced, vein 2A straight; hindwing underside ochreous. The genus is separated from the latter by forewing vein R1 bowed towards and much closer to vein Sc than to vein R2.
