Lectotype (Mabberley in Telopea 7: 170. 1997): Herb. Linn. No. 937.2, lower row of leaves ( LINN) .

Current name: Citrus x aurantium L. View in CoL ( Rutaceae ).

Note: Porter & Elias (in Ann. Missouri Bot. Gard. 66: 132. 1979) indicated Bauhin material (BAS), unseen by Linnaeus, as the type, but it is not original material for the name.
