Aerenea flavolineata Melzer, 1923 . Material examined. BRAZIL, Bahia: Aracatu (“Fazenda Lagoa do Tamburi”; "área de Caatinga arbórea"; 14º30.295’S / 41º27.982’W; light trapping), 1 male, 7–8. VI.2013, A. S. Ferreira col. ( MZUSP).

This species was described from Brazil (São Paulo) and recorded from Bolivia, Paraguay, Argentina and Brazil (Goiás, Mato Grosso, Ceará, Pernambuco, Minas Gerais, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Paraná) ( Monné 2014b).
