Holoype:— TURKEY. Karaman Province: western slopes under saddle Sertavul Geçidi (1630 m) on the road between Karaman and Mut, 1470 m, 23 June 1997, K. Sutorý s.n. (BRNM 707454, isotypes E, W). ( Fig. 9 View FIGURE 9 ).

Description: Biennials, stem simple, rarely several, up to 40 cm tall, puberulent with basiscopic trichomes in lower part, ± patent in the middle, acroscopic, subadpressed, about 2 mm long trichomes in part of inflorescence. Subbasal leaves narrowly elliptic, long petiolate, with short, 0.2–0.3 mm long trichomes, upper bottom leaves oblong, softly hirsute, stem leaves oblong, acute, considerably narrow, 3–8 mm wide, up to 4.5 cm long with rather stiff, subadpressed, up to 1.5 mm long trichomes, bracteoles lanceolate. Inflorescence with 4–6 branches at angles of 50–70°, longest up to 15 cm long (often with further small axillar branches), minute lanceolate bracts usually singly on lower branches, up to 15 flowers per branch, flower peduncles short, 3 mm long, calyx lobes oblong, 4.5 × 1.5 mm long, obtuse, with stiff, 0.4–1 mm long trichomes, longer at base, shorter in upper part, inside with short 0.2 mm long, stiff trichomes in upper 1/3 only. Nutlets (5.2–) 5.5–5.8 (–6.0) mm tall, widely ovate, L/W ratio (1.11–) 1.15–1.28 (–1.29), glochidia slim, up to 2 mm tall, intermixed with small tubercles, style exceeding nutlet for ca. 3 mm.

Notes: Similarly to C. anatolicum and C. teheranicum , the nutlets are not round but slightly elongated. The length of the glochidia (up to 2 mm) on the disc is remarkable and is unique in this group of species, together with the narrow leaves and short peduncles. The small number of inflorescence branches is similar to C. teheranicum .

Distribution: Dispersed in a ring of localities flanking the Central Anatolian plateau, between 1000 and 2000 m ( Fig. 10).
