Report as epibiont on bryozoans: The species was reported on bryozoans found at Pacific coast of Canada, British Columbia, Strait of Georgia ( Kahl 1934; Wailes 1943; Mccauley & Hancock 1971).
Report as epibiont on other hosts: Widely distributed epibiotic and periphytic species found on hydrozoans, algae etc. in the White Sea ( Mereschkowsky 1877), North Sea, Mediterranean Sea and near the Atlantic and Pacific coasts of Northern America ( Collin 1912; Kahl 1934; Wailes 1943; Mccauley & Hancock 1971; Dovgal 2013).
