Record as epibiont on bryozoans: The species was found on Bryozoa from St. Heliers, Jersey, UK ( Kent 1881).

Report as epibiont on other hosts: The species was originally described found on hydroids and tunicate of genus Polyzoa from St. Heliers, Jersey, UK ( Kent 1881). This species was also observed on hydroids from Roscoff and Concarneau (Atlantic coast of France), Nieuwport ( Belgium), the Kola Bay of the Barents Sea ( Kahl 1934).
