Glyphotmethis holtzi turcicus Ünal, 2007 View in CoL
( Figs. 3–4 View FIGURES 1–8. 1–2 )
Material examined. Antalya, Gündoğmuş, Geyik Dağları, Namaras yaylası, 2–3 km Kuzey-Batı, 1980 m, 14.7.2017, 1 male; Namaras yaylası, 2000 m, 27.6.2018, 2 males, 1 female; Namaras yaylası kuzeyi, 1950 m, 26.6.2018, 1 female, 2 females and 1 male nymph in alcohol (leg. M. Ünal) (AİBÜEM).
Remarks. This subspecies is recorded from Antalya Province for the first time. Some of the Central Anatolian fauna elements are reaching to the highlands of northern slopes of Taurus Mountains ( Fig. 4 View FIGURES 1–8. 1–2 ) like this subspecies and Paranocarodes brevipes Ramme (see below).
This subspecies was described from the vicinity of Bozkır District and recognizable by the very low prozona without or with very weak lobes; the clearly long and smooth metazona without or with very weak lateral projections and tubercles which are corresponding with the typical form from Bozkır, but more distinct in the new population. The hind tibia is blue in the basal part, turns to yellow or pink in apical 1/4 (in typical forms from Bozkır, dark blue in basal part and turns to red in apical part). In two female hind tibiae with body colour (yellowish cream) which have lost their natural colour in alcohol.
Glyphotmethis holtzi is mainly distributed in Central Anatolia. The nominotypical subspecies, G. holtzi holtzi , is found in the southeastern part of Central Anatolia. G. holtzi turcicus is known from southwestern part of Central Anatolia. G. holtzi brachypterus is known from west of Central Anatolia. G. holtzi pulchripes is found in central and northeastern part of Central Anatolia ( Ünal 2007).
