Material examined. BATANG HARI DRAINAGE: ZMA 120.519 (3), 194.0±267.0 mm SL. ZRC 41528 (25), 195.3±224.6 mm SL. ZRC 41905 (1), 371 mm SL.

Remarks. Many juveniles were observed being sold in the markets during the dry season, caught mainly by gill-net or cast-net. The local people do not di erentiate

between the two species of Helicophagus ; both of them are known locally as`Patin Muncung’.
