Netuma thalassina View in CoL (non RuÈ ppell, 1837): Fowler, 1904: 500.

Material examined. BATANG HARI DRAINAGE: ZRC 41891 (2), 320.0±350.0 mm SL. Remarks. Arius bilineatus was previously considered a synonym of A. thalassinus

(RuÈppell, 1837), but has been shown to be a distinct species by Kailola (1986).
