† Rovnoleptochromus Jałoszyński & Perkovsky View in CoL
Rovnoleptochromus Jałoszyński & Perkovsky, 2016: 10 . Type species: Rovnoleptochromus ableptonoides Jałoszyński & Perkovsky, 2016 (orig. des.).
Diagnosis. Rovnoleptochromus differs from all remaining Leptochromini in one unique apomorphy: maxillary palpomere II lacking cuticular projection but bearing one long bristle; and a combination of characters that, in a different set, occur in other genera: postgenae bearing long bristles but lacking cuticular postgenal processes; maxillary palpomere III broadening from base to apex and with strongly oblique apex; maxillary palpomere IV indistinctly subtriangular, broadest at base; mesocoxal cavities with carinate posterior margins; and metaventrite with a median longitudinal carina.
Composition and distribution. Rovnoleptochromus ( Fig. 112 View FIGURES 110–112 ) comprises one extinct species known from the Upper Eocene Baltic (Rovno) amber.
