Distribution. Bhutan, India (Assam, Uttarakhand), Japan, Laos, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam.

Biology. The species is associated primarily with species of Fagaceae ( Castanea , Castanopsis , Quercus ) ( Beaver & Shih 2003).
