2 Male antennomeres distinctly slender and cylindrical, especially VIII-X; antennomeres I-II flavous-brown ventrally; maxillary palpomeres I-II brown dorsally and I-III usually flavous-brown ventrally; pronotum punctures wider and not distinctly approached, intermediate surface shiny ( Fig. 4 View FIG ); elytral surface shiny and elytral apex in male more widely rounded; aedeagus elongate ( Figs. 1a View FIG , 2a View FIG ); parameres distinctly divergent and almost glabrous (Sicily)......................... sicula n.sp .
