Material examined ( HMIM). 2 exs.: “KHOUZESTAN [KHUZESTAN] / Ahvaz, Mollasani / 9.5.1975 — 40 m. / PAZUKI, BORUMAND” [female genitals mounted in euparal on transparent card] .
Description of female: similar to male. Body entirely testaceous with darker line on the margin of habitus and edge of carina on the posterior angles of pronotum ( Figures 1a,b View FIGURE1 ). Antenna one antennomere shorter than apices of posterior angles of pronotum ( Figures 1a View FIGURE1 ). Elytra (in both sexes) rounded at the end with a very small spine at elytral apices ( Figure 1c View FIGURE1 ). Female genitalia as in figures 1d, e, spermatheca not sclerotized, consisting a delicate twisted membranous tube ( Figure 1e View FIGURE1 ).
Size. Length 8.0 mm; width 2.3 mm.
Note. The female was not previously known.
Climate types. Arid to semi-arid, with cool to mild winters and very warm summers.
Distribution. Iran (in southern and southeastern Iran, Hormozgan and Khuzestan (first record) provinces) ( Cate 2007; Platia & Gudenzi 2002; present study).
