Type material: Holotype: female, CHINA, Yunnan Province, Gongshan County: Cikai Township [N27.78644º, E98.59831º], 1890 m, 15 November 2004, Vincent F. Lee (HNU-VFL040029).
Etymology. The specific name is derived from the Latin arcuatus , meaning arched or arcuate and referring to the shape of the copulatory ducts; adjective.
Diagnosis. This new species can be separated from other members of this genus by the unique structure of epigyne: atrium large, copulatory ducts with arc-shaped curve, and spermathecae small ( Figs 1 b–e View FIGURES 1 a – e ).
Description. Female (holotype): Total length 3.30. Prosoma 1.40 long, 1.31 wide; opisthosoma 2.00 long, 1.65 wide. Dorsal shield of prosoma light yellow, with sparse long setae. Eye sizes and interdistances: AME 0.08, ALE 0.12, PME 0.05, PLE 0.10, AME - AME 0.15, AME - ALE 0.17, PME - PME 0.25, PME - PLE 0.30. MOA 0.26 long, front width 0.30, back width 0.32. Clypeus height 0.25. Sternum, chelicerae, gnathocoxae, and labium light yellow. Legs light yellow with sparse spines. Leg measurements: I: 4.80 (1.50, 1.60, 1.00, 0.70); II: 4.90 (1.60, 1.60, 1.00, 0.70); III: 3.30 (1.10, 1.20, 0.60, 0.40); IV: 3.40 (1.10, 1.20, 0.60, 0.50), formula 2, 1, 4, 3. Opisthosoma nearly oval; dorsum gray, covered with white spots of scales; anteriorly with some small black dots, each with a long hair, posteriorly with 2 pairs of bilateral small black spots, margins and sides with white spots of scales. Venter gray without spots. Spinnerets light brown.
Epigyne-vulva ( Figs 1 b–e View FIGURES 1 a – e ). Atrium large; copulatory openings large; copulatory ducts with arc - shaped curve; spermathecae spherical.
Male: Unknown.
Distribution. China (known only from the type locality).
