Specimens examined. ENCRUZILHADA DO SUL: Pinot Noir, V. vinifera, Leaf, III-2007 (5).

Three adult females were measured: dorsal shield 390 (389–393) long and 240 (233–250) wide, j1 33 (30–35), j3 60 (58–63), j4 9 (8–10), j5 5, j6 8, J2 8, J5 10 (8–10), z2 13 (10–15), z4 10 (8–10), z5 5, Z1 10 (8–10), Z4 120 (115–125), Z5 197 (190–200), s4 97 (95–100), S2 13, S4 10 (8–13), S5 10 (8–13), r3 24 (23–25), R1 14 (13–15), SgI 40 (35–43), SgII 41 (40–43), SgIII 49 (48–50), StiIII 36 (35–38), SgIV 90 (88–93), StiIV 78 (75–83), StIV 73 (65–80), st1-st3 70 (68–70), st2-st2 77 (63–88), G-G 77 (75–80), ventrianal shield 87 (85–88) anterior wide, 83 posterior wide and 133 long, spermatheca cervix in length 8 (8–10), fixed digit in length 46 (40–50), movable digit 41 (38–43). Number of teeth on the chelicera was not visible.

Previous records in Brazil. Bahia ( Lofego et al., 2000); São Paulo ( Zacarias & Moraes, 2001); Mato Grosso ( Ferla & Moraes, 2002). All measurements agree with the original description ( Moraes & McMurtry, 2000), except for j3, Z4 and Z5, which are longer. This species was described from cassava from the state of Bahia and was also found on rubber trees in the State of Mato Grosso, Brazil ( Ferla & Moraes, 2002).
