Vogelkopf

Unterscheidet sich von der Gattung Daphne (S. 752) durch folgende Merkmale: Kelchröhre krugförmig; Griffel kurz, aber länger als der Narbendurchmesser; Frucht trockenhäutig, eine 1 sämige Kapsel.

Die Gattung Thymelaea umfaßt 25 vorwiegend mediterrane und südwestasiatische Arten.
