Type Locality: Australia, Western Australia, Swan River, L. Walyormouring.

Vernacular Names: Broad-faced Potoroo.

Synonyms: Potorous morgani Finlayson 1938 .

Distribution: Formerly SW Western Australia and Kangaroo Isl, South Australia.

Conservation: IUCN – Extinct.

Discussion: Probably extinct ( Ride, 1970:199); there are no records after 1875.
