Material examined. COLOMBIA, Nariño, Tumaco, Mar Agrícola, Lake 3, 1º41’14” N, 78º44’16” W, 10 m, 17 XI 2010, 1 male macr, D. N. Padilla, leg.; same data as preceding, Lake 7, 22 VI 2010, 1 female macr, (PSO- CZ).
Description. Macropterous female. BL 20.8; body width across mesocoxa 1.12, across metacoxa 1.2; AO /PO 3.34/1.32; Ant, I–IV: 0.80, 1.76; 6.66; 2.33; wing length 7.23; LA 8.40.
General dorsal coloration brown, venter pale yellow. Acetabular pits: fore leg with 7 in episternum and 10 in epimeron; middle leg with 8 in episternum and 10 in epimeron; hind acetabulum with 15 pits. Apical segment of abdomen ending in a narrow, acutely pointed triangular process ( Figs. 6 View FIGURE 6 a,b), abdominal ventrites VI and VII lacking brushes or other structures ( Fig. 6 View FIGURE 6 c).
Comparative notes with the male. The female is distinctly larger than the male (BL 18 mm), differs slightly in the length of the antennae (male Ant, I–IV: 0.70, 1.84, 6.6, 2.36) and has differently formed terminal abdominal segments both dorsally and ventrally ( Figs. 7 View FIGURE 7 a,b).
