( Fig. 94 View FIGURE 94 )

Material examined. Holotype female, Kenya, Mogotio , Rift Valley Province, altitude 1550 m, March 2005 (El- Banhawy).

Female: Dorsal shield reticulated, 315 long, 175 wide. Measurements of dorsal setae: j1 23, j3 28, j4, j5 18, j6 25, J2 41, J5 9, z2 16, z3, z4 18, z5 14, Z4 53, Z5 51, s4 25, s6 30, S2 40, S4 50, S5 8, r3, R1 30, JV5 46. Setae Z 5, JV5, serrated, remaining setae smooth. Peritrematal shield fused anteriorly with dorsal shield, reaching level of j1. Sternal shield, distances between St I-III 52, St II-St II 48 , St III off shield, St IV on platelets. Genital shield 70 wide. Ventri-anal shield 116 long, 67 wide (L/W ratio 1.7: 1), with a pair of small pre-anal pores and four pairs of pre-anal setae (JV1, JV2, JV3, ZV2). Two pairs of metapodal platelets, two pairs of sigillar sclerites, and four pairs of setae surrounding ventri-anal shield. Fixed digit of chelicera with two teeth, movable digit with two teeth. Spermatheca calyx saccular, 14 long, 5 wide, atrium enlarged, 3 long. Macroseta, St IV 28 . Chaetotaxy: genu II 2 , 2 / 0, 2/1, 1, genu III 1 , 2 /1, 2/0, 1.

Remarks. This species is similar to T. praeacutus Van der Merwe. The L/W ratio of the ventri-anal shield (1.7: 1) in the former and (2.0: 1) in later, the shape of spermatheca, and shape of Z5 and JV5, differentiate these two species. The male is unknown.
