Diagnosis. There are three dorsal setal patterns in this Genus 12A: 8A; 12A: 7A and 12A: 7B. The female have caudoventral pattern JV: ZV or JV3: ZV or JV4: ZV, with from 33 to 35 pairs of idiosomal setae in total. There is a considerable variation in other major characters: morphology of dorsal setae, cheliceral dentition, presence of macrosetae on legs and the spermathecal shape ( Chant & McMurtry, 1994).
