Diagnosis. The species in the genus Euseius have the sternal shield with a posterior projection, the female ventrianal shield is vase-shaped with forward migration of setae JV2 and ZV2, and with large, crescentic pores. The genital shield is wider than the ventri-anal; chelicerae have small teeth clustered distally on the fixed digit; the deutosternal groove width is 7–9 µm; the peritreme is shorter, and the setae on the male ventri-anal shield are arranged in a tangential pattern ( Chant & McMurtry, 2005a).
