Material examined. Holotype female, Kenya, Taita Hills, Coast Province , altitude 1600 m, July 2, 2006 (El-Banhawy); 1 paratype female, same locality data as holotype.

Female: Dorsal shield smooth with antero-lateral striations, 340 long, 200 wide, with five pairs of pores. Measurements of dorsal setae: j1, 23, j3 25, j4, j5 13, j6, J2 14, J5 5, z2 16, z4 23, z5 12, Z1 14, Z4 20, Z5 55, s4 35, S2 23, S4, S5 25, r3 16, R1 14, JV5 35. Seta Z 5 serrated, remaining setae smooth. Peritrematal shield fused anteriorly with dorsal shield, reaching level of j1. Sternal shield bilobate posteriorly, distances between St I-St III 58 , St II-St II 56 , St IV free on integument. Genital shield 74 wide. Ventri-anal shield 95 long, 65 wide, with a pair of elliptical pre-anal pores posterior to JV2 and three pairs of pre-anal setae (JV1, JV2, ZV2). Two pairs of metapodal platelets, two pairs of sigillar sclerites and four pairs of setae surrounding ventri-anal shield. Fixed digit of chelicera with eight teeth, movable digit with three teeth. Spermatheca calyx short, funnel-shaped, 14 long, 7 wide distally, atrium bulbous, 4 long. Macrosetae, Sge II 25 , Sge III 23 , Sti III 25 , Sge IV 35 , Sti IV 30 , St IV 36 . Chaetotaxy : Genu II 2 , 2 / 0, 2/0, 1, genu III 1 , 2 /1, 2/0, 1.

Remarks. This species is similar to Ueckermannseius danhomeenis Moraes et al .. The variation in lengths of setae z4, Z4, s4, S2, S4, S5 and macrosetae on leg IV separates these two species. The male is unknown.
