Material examined. Kenya, 2 females, Mfangano Island , Nyanza Province, altitude 1300 m, December 14, 2006 (El-Banhawy) .
Female: Dorsal shield reticulated, 310 long, 200 wide, with five pairs of pores. Measurements of dorsal setae:
j1 23, j3 17, j4, j5 9, j6 12, J 2 14, J5 8, z2, z4 14, z5 12, Z1, Z4 14, Z5 42, s4 19, S2 15, S4, S5 13, r3 5, R1 12, JV5 28. Setae Z 5 serrated, remaining setae smooth. Peritrematal shield fused anteriorly with dorsal shield, reaching level between z2-z4. Sternal shield smooth, distances between St I-St III 62 and St II-St 65, St IV on platelets. Genital shield 82 wide. Ventri-anal shield 90 long, 62 wide, with a pair of crescentic pre-anal pores, and three pairs of pre-anal setae (JV1, JV2, ZV2). Two pairs of metapodal platelets, two pairs of sigillar sclerites and four pairs of setae surrounding ventri-anal shield. Fixed digit of chelicera with three small teeth clustered distally, movable digit with two small teeth. Spermatheca calyx filamentous, 40 long, minor duct distinct, atrium inconspicuous. Macrosetae knobbed, Sge II 22 , Sge III 25 , 16 , Sti III 20 , Sge IV 45 ; 28, Sti IV 18 ; 16; 16, St IV 48 ; 25. Chaetotaxy: genu II 2 , 2 /0, 2/0, 1, genu III 1 , 2 /1, 2/0, 1 .
Remarks. The female holotype and male paratype were collected from Lwiro, IRSAC, DRC May 18, 1955, E. W. Baker ( Pritchard & Baker, 1962).
