Taxonomy: van der Vecht 1960: 103 (key to species).— Cardale 1985: 167–168 ( Bidentodynerus ; cat.), 199 (cat.).— Giordani Soika 1993b: 126 (type species of Bidentodynerus transferred to Pseudabispa ; synonymy not otherwise stated).
Distribution: Australia and New Guinea.
Ethology: One species is reported to nest in burrows excavated in the soil, with a mud entrance funnel; it has also been reported to use old wasp nest cells. Prey: caterpillars. Another species has been reported to usurp nests of Abispa ephippium , and provision the cells with caterpillars stolen from other nests.
