Type species: Penthe metallica Champion, 1916 by original designation ( Nikitsky, 1998)
DIagnosIs. Metallic blue/purple elytra; antennomeres with flabellate/pectinate club, antennomere XI black, not contrasting in color to I–X. The differential diagnosis separating Cyanopenthe from Penthe Newman, 1838 is listed in Table 1 View TABLE 1 .
