Material examined. COLOMBIA. Nariño, Tumaco. El Bajito, 0 m, 24 VI 2010, leg. D. N. Padilla, 17 M apt, 28 Fapt (PSO-CZ).

Ecological notes. This species was collected from mangrove lagoons in the Bajito ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 ). The habitat is characterized by air temperature 25.2 ºC, water temperature 30.5 ºC, pH 7.5, conductivity 1 S/m and dissolved oxygen 110%. This species was found in combination with Telmatometroides rozeboomi (Drake & Harris, 1937) and Rhagovelia arcuata ( Polhemus & Manzano, 1992) .
