Description. Body mostly pale yellow. Vertex yellow with 2 black spots. Face with black spot above each antennal pit ( Fig. 6 View FIGURES 1 – 8 ). Pronotum with one black spot at center of anterior margin. Mesonotum with two black triangles ( Fig. 4 View FIGURES 1 – 8 ). Forewings with brown zigzag pattern ( Fig. 2 View FIGURES 1 – 8 ). Legs yellow without pattern. Abdomen yellow without pattern.

Male genitalia. Process of pygofer falcate with small dorsal tooth near base ( Fig. 20 View FIGURES 16 – 21 ). Subgenital plate with 3 macrosetae near middle and row of short setae from base to apex ( Fig. 21 View FIGURES 16 – 21 ). Style slender with 3 apical points subequal in length to each other ( Fig. 18 View FIGURES 16 – 21 ). Aedeagus in lateral view ( Fig. 16 View FIGURES 16 – 21 ) with dorsal apodeme short, preatrium long and curved; dorsal apodeme with compressed anterior lobe and acute posterior projection; shaft compressed, tapered, as long as preatrium, curved dorsad with ventral margin angulate near base, apex narrowly rounded, without processes, very slender in caudal view ( Fig. 17 View FIGURES 16 – 21 ). Connective short and M- shaped ( Fig. 19 View FIGURES 16 – 21 ).

Measurements. Body length male 2.8mm, females 2.8–2.9mm.

Type materials. Holotype: [ CNU] 1♂, Korea, Suwon, 23.x.1974, coll. T.Okada. Paratypes: 1♂, 2♀♀, same data as holotype.; [ CNU] 2♀♀, Korea, Suwon, 15.v.1979. coll. K.R.Choe.

Host plants. Vitis sp. ( Vitales : Vitaceae )

Distributions. Korea (Suwon)

Remarks. This species is similar to Arboridia maculifrons ( Vilbaste, 1968) , but differs in forewing pattern and the black spot above the antennal pit.

Etymology. The specific name is derived from the characteristic 7 prominent spots on the head, pronotum and mesonotum.
