Lectotype (designated here):— SURINAME. 06 March 1908, Boschbeheer 88 ( U! [ U0006912 ] ; isolectotypes K! [ K000381811 ] ; L! [ L0013078 ] ; U! [ U0006911 ] ).

Pulle (1909) cited Boschbeheer 88 as type of Luehea rugosa , specifying U as the repository herbarium. We found original collection in U and two duplicates in K and L. For this reason, in accordance with Art. 9.3 of the ICN, we designate here, among the syntypes, the specimen U [U0006912] as the lectotype of the L. rugosa .
