In the protologue of Lueheopsis burretiana, Ducke cited following collections as original material: Ducke 34988, Ducke 224 and Ducke 280, all are recognised here as syntypes (Art. 9.6 of the ICN, McNeil 2014, Turland et al. 2018). All these collections we could locate at different herbaria, distributed by Ducke. For the precise application of the name, we have selected here Ducke 34988 at RB, where the specimen is more complete, as a lectotype. This specimen is composed by two sheets with only one original label, i.e. a multiple preparation (Art. 8.3 of the ICN).
