Bentham (1861) cited only the specimen Spruce 3484 as the type of Luehea altheaeflora . We found numerous duplicates of this specimen in many of them. For this reason, in accordance with Art. 9.3 of the ICN, we designate here the specimen K000381804 as the lectotype of Lueheopsis altheaeflora .
