Lectotype (designated here):— FRENCH GUYANA. Saint-Laurent-du-Maroni: Godebert , February 1920, Wachenheim 116 ( P! [ P02142919 ] ; isolectotypes F! [ V0332624F ] ; K! [ K000381810 ] ; P! [ P02142918 ] , [ P02142920 ] ).

When describing Luehea maroniensis, Benoist (1921) cited the specimen Wachenheim 116 in the protologue. We found five specimens associated with the name in the herbaria F, K and P. Therefore, in accordance with Art. 9.3 of the ICN, we designated here, among the syntypes, the specimen P [P 02142919] as the lectotype of L. maroniensis .
