Distribution. Nearctic. Canada: LB, MB, NB, NF, NS, ON, QC. USA: IN, MA, ME (NSR), MN, NH (NSR), NY, PA, RI, VA, VT.

Collection and Habitat data. In NH adults were found in coniferous and hardwood leaf litters, from rotten wood, and from leaf litters adjacent to wet areas such as streams, springs, and swamps. Taken by flight intercept and window traps. Adults were collected from April to October in NH. In Canada also found in various coniferous and deciduous forests. Adults are often abundant in various kinds of decaying and fresh mushrooms (gilled, polypore, Polyporus varius on side of log, stalked polypores) on forest floor, and also occurring in forest litter, especially in the spring; often captured in abundance by pitfall traps ( Klimaszewski et al. 2018).
