Distribution. Nearctic. Canada: AB, MB, NB, ON, QC. USA: ME, NH, WI.

Collection and Habitat data. One NH female was captured by sifting birch/beech leaf litter in October. In Canada found in hardwood, mixed, and conifer forests in various fungi growing on dead standing trees (especially Populus ) and logs; adults were collected from slightly dried Pleurotus mushrooms, polypore fungi in early stages of decay, in decaying Hapalopilus nidulans (Fr.) Karst. (a fleshy polypore fungus) on dead standing Populus and logs, and in Laetiporus sulphureus (Bull.) Murrill on a dead standing red oak. Elsewhere found in polypore mushrooms, especially members of Polyporus and Coriolus ( Webster et al. 2009) .
