Distribution. Nearctic. Canada: AB, BC, LB, MB, NB, NF, NS, ON, PE, QC, SK, YT. USA: AK, CA, ME (NSR), MN, NH (NSR).

Collection and Habitat data. The NH and ME specimens were captured in flight intercept and window traps. Collected from July to October. In Canada taken in various hardwood and coniferous forests ( Klimaszewski et al. 2018). In NB adults were common in decaying mushrooms in late summer: in fleshy fungi, in decaying gilled mushrooms, baited with pile of decaying mushrooms, fleshy fungi in various stages of decay, in gilled mushrooms, in rotten fungi. Elsewhere in wet moss on forest floor, in marten dung on moss, and in mushrooms ( Klimaszewski et al. 2018).
