Distribution. Nearctic. Canada: LB, NB, NF, ON. USA: MA, NC, NH (NSR), NY, TN.
Collection and Habitat data. In NH captured by flight intercept traps, and found in mass of mushrooms on large stump. Collected from September to October. In Canada found in various deciduous and coniferous forest types. Adults on/in fresh gilled mushrooms, on Russula virescens (Schaeff.) Fr. , in Climacodon septentrionale (Fr.) Kar. on dead standing sugar maple, on Pleurotus sp. on log; also found on Heterobasidium annosum (Fr.) Bref. (conifer-based polypore) ( Klimaszewski et al. 2009c, 2018).
