Distribution. Nearctic, recorded from A/S ( Klimaszewski et al. 2021). Canada: LB, MB, NB, NF, NS, ON, QC. USA: AR, CA, MA, ME, MI, NH, WI.
Collection and Habitat data. In ME sifted from leaf litter in wet depressions in a forest and taken by treading in a bog. Collected from May to August in ME; in NH taken in August. In Canada found in alder ( Alnus ) swamps in leaf litter and moss, lake margins in emergent Carex and grasses, pond and brook margins in Carex and moist leaves, marshes in Carex hummocks, old beaver flowages in emergent vegetation and grass litter ( Klimaszewski et al. 2018, 2021).

Chandler, sift leaf litter in wet depressions in forest, 2 females. York Co. : West Lebanon, 17–23.VII.1990, 1 male, 24–30.VI.1991, D.W. Barry, UV lt., 1 male, 1 female . New Hampshire, county? W Milltown, 9.VIII.1925 (either Hillsborough Co.: Milton, or Rockingham Co. : Newmarket; Klimaszewski 1982) .
