Distribution. Nearctic. Canada: MB, NB, NF, ON, QC. USA: IL, MA, MD, NH (NSR), NJ, NY, PA, VT.

Collection and Habitat data. The NH specimens were all taken from an old-growth silver maple floodplain forest where a small stream with adjacent vernal pools entered the Connecticut River. Captured by splashing stream banks in forest, by sweeping forest riparian vegetation, and collected by flight intercept and UV light traps. Collected from May to August. In Canada found in riparian habitats and on pond margins: among cobblestones near water, in drift material (mostly maple seeds), in mixed forest in most leaf litter on margin of vernal pond, treading edge of eutrophic pond, and from pond margin in moist grass litter on mud ( Klimaszewski et al. 2008b, 2018).
