Syntypes. Canary Islands. La Palma. Cueva los Palmeros : 1 ♀ 12. VII.1986 J.L. Martín leg. (P–PA–7) ( DZUL 24637 ) . Cueva del Diablo : 1♀ 24.VIII. 1986 J.L. Martín leg. (P–DI–4) ( DZUL 24624 ) ; 1♂ subadult ( DZUL 24623 ).

Current status: valid species.

Additional notes: in the original description it was not indicated which specimen is the holotype and which are paratypes. Though the specimen DZUL24637 has the "Holotype" label handwritten by J. Wunderlich, according to the International Code of Zoological Nomenclature all specimens must be considered syntypes.
