Materials examined. 287 females, 95 males, 48 deutonymphs and 12 protonymphs, soil and litter samples under cypress trees ( Cupressus sp.), Turkish pine ( Pinus brutia ), mastic trees ( Pistacia sp.), oak trees ( Quercus sp.), olive ( Olea europaea ) and moss samples on soil layer, various localities in Eceabat district (Çanakkale province), between January 2013 and March 2014; 527 females, 193 males, 144 deutonymphs and 54 protonymphs, soil and litter samples under pine trees ( Pinus sp.), Turkish pine ( Pinus brutia ), stone pine ( Pinus pinea ), carob trees ( Ceratonia siliqua ), oak trees ( Quercus sp.), kermes oak ( Quercus coccifera ), common juniper ( Juniperus communis ), Mediterranean cypress ( Cupressus sempervirens ) and moss samples on soil layer, various localities in Gelibolu district (Çanakkale province), between January 2013 and March 2014; Distribution. Romania ( Ivan & Călugăr, 2004) and Turkey ( Duran, 2013).

Remarks. This species was recorded from İstanbul province before, and we report some new localities of this species from Turkey in this paper. This was the most abundant species of Zercon in the study area.
