Collection Dates: 7 May–21 August.

Minnesota Hosts: Reared from Alnus incana ssp. rugosa (Du Roi) Clausen (n = 2, St. Louis County, Duluth, Minnesota Point, 16–19 June 2014, S. Lahti, small branches Alnus incana rugosa ). Additional larval hosts recorded as Acer pennsylvanicum L. and Salix lucida Muhl. ssp. lasiandra (Benth.) E. Murr. (Salicaceae) . Adults also on Picea

sp. ( Pinaceae ) and Thuja occidentalis L. ( Cupressaceae ).

Collection Method: Reared from small branches of Alnus incana rugosa , by heating Salix , in bait trap, and as C. fumipennis prey.
