Scutoscutellar sulcus divided by two or more submedian carinae into three or more foveae; median carina absent. Mesoscutellum at least raised laterally and sometimes also posteriorly; dorsal surface entirely foveatereticulate or foveaterugose and without transverse costae. Metapleural sulcus straight to slightly bent at middle, metepisternum subtriangular. M + Cu 1 of forewing run almost parallel basally to R + Sc before turning away abruptly from the latter apically. Procoxa anterolaterally with a vertical carina (figs. 18, 19, 28, 29). Median, ventral hump on petiolar annulus present in females but absent in males. T7–T8 not fused with each other.
