Notes
Enicospilus ‘merdarius’ auctt. has now been split into three species, none of which is actually merdarius ( Broad and Shaw 2016); E. merdarius was regarded as a synonym of E. ramidulus by Gauld (1973) and listed as such in Fitton (1978) but regarded by most recent authors as a valid species, which is borne out by the lack of intermediate specimens and differences in distribution ( Broad and Shaw 2016) (allowing for the fact that the name merdarius was misappplied).
