Basionym :— Lophozia asymmetrica Horik., J. Sci. Hiroshima Univ., Ser. B ., Div. 2, Bot. 2: 153, 1934 ( Horikawa 1934). Type:— TAIWAN. Tainan: Mt. Morrison (Tâtaka-Mayeyama), Aug. 1932, Y . Horikawa , no. 9140a (holotype HIRO) .
