HOLOTYPE: AMNH 710336 View Materials , adult male, collected at Mhoiwla , near Mazagan, 33.15N, 08.30W ( Thévenot et al., 2003), Morocco, on 1 February 1902, by F.W. Riggenbach (no. 78). GoogleMaps

COMMENTS: In the original description, Hartert cited Riggenbach’s no. 78 for the holotype and said that he had 17 specimens collected by Riggenbach and himself in Morocco, five from Tunis, one from Aguilas, Spain, and others from Algiers.
