Distribution. Europe, Iran.

The knowledge about the Thysanoptera fauna of Azerbaijan, Iran and Lebanon are significantly added after our investigations. One species (?) Aeolothrips unknown for Iranian fauna was found. In addition, 9 species from 8 genera are recorded for the first time for Azerbaijan and 15 species from 9 genera for Lebanon.
