Diagnosis. Forming open aggregates consisting of large numbers of tiny (0.2–0.35 mm diameter), whitish tubes, circular in cross-section ( Fig. 17 View FIGURE 17. A C); granular overlay absent. Operculum and pseudoperculum absent. Asexual reproduction common ( Fig. 17 View FIGURE 17. A B).
