Figures 24 View FIGURE 24 , 38 View FIGURE 38
Description. Female. Body length 2.1 mm, fore wing length 2.2 mm.
Head. Transverse in dorsal view, 1.9× as wide as long as long as mesoscutum. Temple shiny, polished and impunctate, a little broad. Face relatively shiny, almost impunctate, pubescent, inner margin of eyes converged below, less transverse, nearly 0.8× as high as wide. Ocelli small, distance between fore and a hind ocellus longer than diameter of an ocellus, posterior imaginary tangent to fore ocellus touching hind two ocelli, POL:OD:OOL=4.0:1.5:3.5. Antenna distinctly shorter than body, penultimate antennomere cubic.
Mesosoma. Length:breadth:height=35.0:22.0:23.0. Disc of mesonotum shiny, almost impunctate. Scutellar sulcus nearly straight, finely crenulated. Scutellum highly shiny, polished without punctures. Propodeum shiny, entirely polished, relatively short. Mesopleuron highly polished, without punctures anteriorly.
Legs. Spines on outer side of hind tibia dispersed. Inner spur of hind tibia half length of hind basitarsus, outer spur slightly shorter (2/5). Basitarsus of hind leg a little shorter than tarsomeres 2–4 combined (12.0:14.0).
Wings. Pterostigma 2.7× as long as its widest part. Vein 1-R1 (metacarp) 1.4× longer than pterostigma, 5.5× as long as its distance from the apex of the marginal cell. Vein r arising from middle of pterostigma, as long as width of pterostigma, vein r indistinctly longer than vein 2-SR, angled at their meeting, vein 2-M half of vein 2-SR. 1 st discal cell as wide as high. 1 st submarginal cell of hind wing 2× wider than high. Vein cu-a curved.
Metasoma. Indistinctly longer than thorax (37.0:35.0). T1 parallel-sided, as long as wide posteriorly, indistinctly concave at basal 2/5, turned-over part highly shiny, highly polished. T2 weakly curved into T3, 3× wider than long in the middle. T3 1.6× longer than T2. All tergites highly shiny, polished, sparsely pubescent. Hypopygium not longer than apex of abdomen. Ovipositor sheath nearly as long as hind tibia.
Colour. Body black. Tegula, spurs and palpi yellow. Labrum and mandible dark reddish yellow. Antenna and ovipositor sheath evenly brown. Fore and mid tibiae with tarsi, hind half of mid femur, anterior half of hind tibia and most of hind tarsus bright yellow, the left yellowish brown to dark brown. Wing membrane hyaline, vein 1-R1 and pterostigma brown, vein C+SC+R, r, 2-SR and 2-M yellowish brown, other veins pale yellow.
Variation. Legs of specimens from Liaoning and Heilongjiang darker and ovipositor sheath of specimen from Shenyang distinctly shorter (almost 3/4 length of hind tibia).
Male. Unknown.
Host. According to the label: Anarsia lineatella Zeller ( Lepidoptera : Gelechiidae ).

Distribution. China (Fujian, Heilongjiang, Liaoning, Tibet, Xinjiang, Zhejiang).
Etymology. The specific name “ poliobrevis ” derived from the Latin adjective “polio” and “brevis”, referring to the propodeum short and polished.
Remarks. This species is similar to D. eleagnellae Tobias but differs from the latter by the following: scutellar sulcus narrow and shallow, with 16 carinae in between; vein r and 2-SR distinctly angled at their meeting; and T1 shorter.
