( Figs 14–15 View FIGURES 13–16 )

Holotype: ♀ Iran, Fars prov., Khermeh (Dodej) 29º34’23’’N, 52º59’42’’E 1673 m, 7–19.vii.2015 M. Sadeghi leg. (coll. ZSM) GoogleMaps . Paratypes: 2♀♀ same location as holotype, 7–19.vii.2015 and 21.viii.–3.ix 2015 (coll. CSE & JIAU). All specimens were captured in malaise traps GoogleMaps .

Diagnosis. Solierella persica sp. nov. is charaterized by a distinct shiny body surface, compared to the remaining species. This includes mesonotum, mespleuron, the episcrobal area, which is also nearly completely impunctate, and the interspaces of the propodeal enclosure. Punctation of vertex and mesosoma is sparser compared to remainnig species from Iran, apart from mesonotal punctation of S. kermania sp. nov., which is also more sparse. Legs including femora have large whitish parts, as the remaining new described species in this contribution.

Description of female, holotype: Body length 5,1 mm. Colour: Black with the following parts whitish yellow: Mandible except red apex, band of pronotum, medially shortly interrupted, pronotal lobe, tegula, basal sclerite of fore wing, metanotum, tibae, tarsi (tibiae below and tarsi with some ocre yellow), apex of femora, large bands on underside of fore- and midfemora, in forefemora two-third as long as femoral length, in midfemora half as long as femoral length. Antenna black, brown below, wing venation black, basally pale. Wings transparent. Tergites I–V with red apical margin, outer margin reddish-transparent. Morphology: ACM widely rounded. Head and mesoma distinctly shiny, polished. Frons with fine punctation, vertex around ocelli, mesoscutum, scutellum and mesopleuron with sparser and fine punctation, punctures 2–3 diameters apart. Episrobal area impunctate (with 3–4 indistict punctures only). Foretarsus without spines. Propodeal enclosure with some irregular but prominent striae, intespaces shiny. Propodeum laterally with about 10 striae, interspaces shiny. Tergites with very fine punctation, 1–2 diameters apart, and shiny. Paratypes agree with holotype, body size 4.8 and 5,0 mm.

Male: Unknown.

Distribution. Fars province in southern Iran.

Etymology. The name is derived from the country of origin, Iran, in its former name Persia.
