Notes: There are 141 valid species of Eupines View in CoL distributed in Australia, New Zealand, and New Caledonia (136 spp.) and in Southeast Asia (5 spp.). We cover only New Zealand members here. Images and other details of the four species that were described recently from Three Kings Islands ( New Zealand) are treated by Théry & Leschen (2013). Subgeneric assignments for Eupines View in CoL species based on King’s (1866) classification can be readily determined by close examination of the number of male antennal segments (10 antennomeres in Byraxis ; 11 antennomeres in Eupines View in CoL ), and which have been updated in this catalogue. Subgeneric assignments are not made for four species of Eupines View in CoL that are based solely on female types.
