Euderides Lacordaire, 1865: 18 [stem: Euder-]. Type genus: Euderes Schönherr, 1825. Comment: original vernacular name available (Art. 11.7.2): first used in latinized form by Pascoe (1870b: 437, as Euderinae ), generally accepted as in Alonso-Zarazaga and Lyal (1999: 201, as Euderini ); the junior homonym Euderini Erdös, 1956 (type genus Euderus Haliday, 1844) is available in Hymenoptera : Eulophidae ; the name Entiinae Hedqvist, 1974 is now used as valid in Hymenoptera instead of Euderini Erdös, 1956 (see Hansson and Straka 2009: 272).
